Introduction
The Department of Korean Medicine Nephrology and Endocrinology, Korean Medicine Hospital, Kyung Hee University is a clinical department of internal medicine based on the classification of the five organs in Korean medicine. Treatment mainly focuses on endocrine diseases, kidney and urinary diseases. We have a specialized treatment system for treating endocrine diseases such as thyroid, diabetes, and obesity, kidney diseases such as edema, glomerulonephritis, and renal failure, and male sexual function.
Comprehensive diagnosis is made through the use of Korean medicine, specialized diagnostic methods and modern diagnostic equipment, and a high rate of treatment is achieved by utilizing various treatments. Hundreds of papers have been published in various academic journals and magazines not only in medical treatment, but also in education and research.
Major diseases include endocrine diseases, kidney diseases, and urinary diseases. Special clinics include edema clinic, diabetes clinic, men's clinic, thyroid clinic, and prostate clinic.
The Department of Nephrology and Endocrinology focuses on identifying the cause, recovering symptoms, and improving the quality of life through detailed treatment by medical staff. In addition, we evaluate the patient's systemic condition by performing basic Korean medicine examinations such as the Suyangmyeong Meridian function test, , Yangdorak test, pulse electrocardiogram, and body composition test. We provide more precise diagnosis and specialized treatment by conducting tests through collaboration as needed.
