Medical oncology is a specialized field of internal medicine in diagnosing and treating cancer using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, and biological therapy. A medical oncologist is the main health care provider for someone who has cancer. A medical oncologist also gives supportive care and may coordinate treatment given by other specialists.
Hematology is a science about diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease of the blood and bone marrow as well as of the immunologic, hemostatic(blood clotting) and vascular systems. Hematologist treat the patients who has various anemia, thrombocyte disorder, hemorrhagic disease, plethora, leucocyte disorder, immune disorder, marrow dysfunction, and leukemia.
Our department provide multidisciplinary approach treatment for cancer patients coordinating with surgical oncologist and radiation oncologist. We are also performing bone marrow transplantation and High-dose chemotherapy using autologous peripheral stem cell transplant
