The Department of Pediatrics is a medical field that treats the pediatric health in holistic term from the pregnancy to adolescence. It aims at fully developing physical, intelligent, emotional and social ability of the child throughout the entire development procedure and establishing the foundation for the children to play great roles as members of local community.
Although it has been always emphasized that ˇ°Children are not small adultsˇ± it is essential to understand the characteristics of children by each development stage in order to correctly evaluate the children who continue to grow and develop.
