The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology is a full-service imaging facility specializing in assessing conditions of the head and neck region. The department provides other department and dental professionals with a higher level of diagnistic information to formulate complex treatment plans as well as guide postoperative care. In addition to providing exceptional patient care, the department provides excellent learning opportunities for dental and graduate students as well as the school's continuing education programs. Procedures and/or consultation offerd include : - Routine digital radiography of teeth facial bones - Tempormandibular joint imaging, including arthrography and cone beam CT - Paranasal sinus evaluation - Sialography - Pre-and post-surgical dental implant evalutions using cone beam CT - Advice for digital imaging for private dental offices - Dictated reports for all studies
